So then, the Apple iPad, the long-anticipated Apple tablet, has been revealed.  My first reaction, being the Apple products fan that I am was 'I want one now!' as the mist cleared and I began thinking about the good points and bad points of the device , I suspect I'll have to give it some more thought before I buy one of them.  That's not to say that I will not do so, but i want to be sure.  There's a great number of elements both in support of and opposed to the Apple ipad device gadget and offered are one or two thoughts to mull over, in no special sequence :

Pro : The Apple ipad device is a marvel of dreativity, graceful and light and straightforward to hold.  It looks great. 

Con : It has no method of shielding the display other than a pocket/sleeve that's unconnected to the gadget itself. 

Pro : It boasts the same great touch-screen capacities of the iPhone and iPod Touch and appears to be an excellent gadget to use. 

Con : It operates the phone OS instead of a full OS, which limits what you can do with the device. 

Pro : The Apple ipad device is great for enjoying videos, TV shows and podcast episodes and playing games titles along with browsing the web. 

Con : it doesn't support flash, which will restrict the quantity of employment it is for surfing. 

Pro : The Apple iPad is a fantastic way to stay on the web when on the go, simple to set up and terribly quick, and the diversity of drive sizes means there is one for everyone. 

Con : even though it's speedy, there are no USB ports and there's no way of increasing the capacity.  Plus, the larger sized drives are extremely costly. 

Pro : The Apple iPad is superb for travelling and being online when relaxing thanks to the superb UI and the fabulous display. 

Con : it does not seem to be much good for carrying out any work on, which is what a lot of individuals would desire out of it if taking it while travelling. 

Pro : It offers a fantastic new e-reader experience for publications, mags and websites to be read upon. 

Con : True, but you can say the same thing about the iPod Touch, the iPhone, the Kindle in addition to the Sony e-reader, all of which are less expensive by a very long way. 

Notwithstanding its drawbacks, I still desire one as they appear to be fun and very good for casual surfing and entertainment.  The lack of capacities for using it as a work gadget is the factor that's turning me off the device right now, but just like plenty of other people, I'm entranced by this pretty great up-to-the-minute device, and am excited to have a fool around and look into precisely what the Apple iPad tablet can offer me.
